Skunk Problems Around The House in New Jersey

How To Trap A Skunk New Jersey

Of the many species of wildlife that can be a nuisance to New Jersey area homeowners, none can cause problems quite like a skunk. Skunks are small mammals that often take up residence around homes by burrowing under decks and porches and they have a habit of digging up yards in search of insects for food. They also spray a foul odor to mark their territory or to protect themselves when they feel threatened by people or other animals and pets. Removing a skunk can be tricky to do without getting sprayed and it is usually best if handled by wildlife control experts who specialize in live trapping. However, homeowners should be aware of how to prevent skunk invasions and what to do if an invasion should occur.

Snake Removal From House New Jersey

When it comes to snakes going out during the night, it will depend on the species. Some snakes are nocturnal while others are not. The snakes will eat small rodents and reptiles. Their prey like to go out in the night, so some snakes will come out to find their prey during the night, but some will sleep instead. Snakes are cold blooded, and this means that their metabolism will depend on the environment. When it is cold, the snake will not move quickly and it will not be able to hunt well. In high temperature places, the snake can be nocturnal during summer since it is warm at night, and this is the reason why nocturnal snakes are common in tropical places.
